Liverpool Women players Cornelia Kapocs and Beata Olsson took part in a session at Liverpool College to motivate students through the LFC Foundation's Sound Minds initiative. This programme aids young people in growing their self-confidence and understanding their feelings. During the visit, the athletes participated in exercises with the children, such as making a tree that represents confidence. Sound Minds operates in numerous schools around the Liverpool area, aiming to help pupils grasp their emotions and set goals for their lives at school and beyond.

Olsson emphasized the value of serving as visible examples, mentioning it was uplifting to listen to the children share their dreams. She said several girls she talked to were sure they could be professional athletes or performers. Olsson explained that revealing these career paths to young women is key, since they frequently do not meet individuals in positions they consider exciting.

Andy Hanlon, who manages the mental health programme at LFC Foundation, called the players' involvement wonderful. He saw the strong effect the footballers had on the students and how attentive the girls were. Hanlon commented that self-belief greatly affects a child's health, social connections, and ambitions, and such visits make these important ideas real in a powerful and unforgettable manner. This event was one of several held by the foundation ahead of World Mental Health Day.
