Liverpool Women's upcoming Women's Super League fixture at Aston Villa has been moved to a new venue. The match, scheduled for Sunday, October 18 at 2pm BST, will now be played at Keys Park Stadium instead of Villa Park.
Aston Villa confirmed the switch, citing a busy October period with six first-team fixtures scheduled at their main stadium. The club acknowledged the potential disruption for travelling fans. "We recognise that supporters had been expecting this fixture to take place at Villa Park and appreciate that the change of venue may cause inconvenience," Villa said.
The Reds head into the game looking to bounce back from a 1-0 defeat away to Manchester United last weekend. That result left Liverpool sixth in the FA WSL table with seven points from their opening five matches.
Their next opponents, Aston Villa, currently sit 12th.
