He said, “I want to put a rocket up him” and that Wirtz must understand where the game is won and lost. Regarding Isak, Neville praised his “devastating” impact at Newcastle but warned that the club’s patience is limited because of the £125 million investment. He concluded that Liverpool’s teammates and coaches must see that the duo’s performance must improve or they risk criticism.
