Vivien Endemann has made Barclays Women's Super League history with her start to life at Liverpool Women. The summer signing is the first player ever to both score and provide an assist in two of her opening three appearances in the division.

She achieved the dual contribution in the season's opening 4-0 win at Charlton Athletic and repeated it in the 4-2 loss to Manchester City. Endemann, who now has two goals this season, said she is pleased with her beginning. "I'm really pleased with how I've started and I'm looking forward to the rest of the season," the forward told the club's media.

Her immediate impact has been a bright spot as Liverpool Women sit seventh in the table with four points from their first three games. The team's form reads win, draw, loss from matches against Charlton, Tottenham and Manchester City.

Manager Gareth Taylor praised the team's development after the 1-1 draw with Tottenham, noting frustration at not taking all points was a positive step. The side will look to build on their early platform this weekend. Liverpool Women debut new personalised Tommy Hilfiger kits for the Merseyside derby against Everton at Anfield on Sunday.
