Alice Bergstrom is set for her first starting appearance with Liverpool Women in their Barclays Women's Super League game against Manchester City. Wearing the number 25 shirt, she is the sole alteration to the lineup from the previous meeting between these teams.

Manager Gareth Taylor announced the team, with Bergstrom taking the place of Ceri Holland. This selection allows the player an opportunity to follow up on her recent goal against City. Liverpool's position in the league standings is seventh, having earned four points from three matches.

The match at the Joie Stadium begins at 7pm BST. Goalkeeper Rachael Keating is protected by defenders Emma Kerr, Jasmine Clark, Grace Fisk and Maria Bernabe. In midfield, Fuka Nagano and Lucia Ramos are joined by the new starter Bergstrom. The attacking duties fall to Csilla Kapocs, Vicky Endemann and Matilda Olsson.

Available as substitutes are Taylor Kirby, Romane H., Mia Enderby, Marie Höbinger, Lois Woodham, Aida Agrez, Anna Csillag, Aoife Breen and Lucy Trueman.

This game provides an immediate opportunity to react to the last outcome. Following this, the team will prepare for a home Merseyside derby against Everton. The future match list can be viewed on the fixtures page.
